Marshall Burke

Having graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Sports & Exercise Psychology, Marshall decided to move back to the McLean area to pursue a career in the fitness realm as a personal trainer. Over the following decade he worked with youth athletes who are looking to improve their performance, older adults who are seeking ways to improve their fitness during retirement and young adults who are seeking to improve their body and health. Marshall’s training philosophy is that since no two people are the same no two training programs should be. While some exercises will of course be used for multiple people, the reason for doing them may be different so that it facilitates the growth and development of the trainee as best as possible. During his free time Marshall enjoys not only watching sports but also learning about the
inner workings of the sports industry such as how TV broadcast and advertising deals affect the ways in which sports are financed and covered in the media; or how player contract negotiations are done.
